This was luxury train travel at its finest. From the moment I stepped onto the train, it was clear this wasn’t your average train ride. Think luxury on rails: panoramic windows, gourmet meals, outstanding scenery, impeccable service, and storytelling hosts who provided commentary for the journey.
We traveled through breathtaking mountain passes, gorgeous waterfalls, and enjoyed wildlife sightings such as elk, bald eagles, deer and mountain goats. And the food and drinks? Three-course meals served in a separate fabulous dining car along with unlimited drinks.
From sunrise over the Rockies to starry nights in beautiful hotels, the trip was the perfect blend of relaxation, adventure, and picture-perfect moments. Some of the highlights for me included visiting Banff, Lake Louise, and traveling past the towering Rockies and glacial rivers, all from the comfort of my luxury seat with a glass of wine in hand. Not a bad way to travel.
The onboard staff made it an unforgettable experience. They served meals with a smile, shared fun facts during the journey, and were so attentive.
This was definitely a 5-star experience.
